Levira To Produce VTB League’s TV Broadcasts For Finnish Basketball Team Bisons
AS Levira, a leading outdoor broadcast service provider in the Baltics, signed a contract with the Finnish basketball team Bisons to produce the TV broadcasts of all of their 2014-2015 VTB League’s home games.
This is not the first time for Levira to produce basketball TV broadcasts, having been responsible for the broadcasts of all 94 EuroBasket 2011 finals in Lithuania. Recently, Levira concluded a long-term cooperation agreement to broadcast all the Alexela Basketball Premier League matches in Estonia in the next three seasons. “We are happy to see that Levira’s experience in sports broadcasts and its high service quality is receiving growing recognition also outside Estonia. We have had Finnish clients before, but this is the first long-term contract for providing outdoor broadcasting services in Finland, and thus bears special importance for us,” said Indrek Lepp, Director of Media Services Division.
“To maintain the high quality of a wide range of services with tight competition, Levira is dedicated to the comprehensive development of its production technologies and services. To this end, we have obtained also special equipment for the production of VTB League games, which was one of the key factors for choosing Levira as the partner,” added Kulno Kägu, Head of TV Production.
“We are very satisfied with Levira’s services and I have no complaints whatsoever. The team consists of true professionals – I only had to show them the power outlet and they took care of the broadcast,” commented Aku Perho, Managing Director of Bisons.
The first Bisons home game, produced and broadcasted by Levira, was held on 19 October in Loimaa, Finland. Bisons won Tsmoki-Minsk from Belarus at 102:79.
