Levira developed a new innovative server room
Levira has developed a new server room with free air cooling, unique in Estonia. This effective solution helps the company to offer better prices to its clients.
Raivo Kasepuu, Head of Levira’s Telecommunication Services Division, said that the new server hosting centre with an area of 500 m2 is an innovative and important solution, which should certainly attract clients’ interest. “These type of server rooms are a growing global trend because they entail lower maintenance costs and thus better prices for customers,” Kasepuu confirmed.
Levira is one of the biggest Estonian providers of server hosting, offering its services regardless of the type of data traffic – clients can choose themselves which data communication provider to use. They have 24/7 access to the servers and the service includes also manned monitoring.
Levira is the provider of infrastructure services to media, IT and telecom industries. It is the largest independent provider of TV playout services in Northern Europe and the main TV and radio broadcast transmission service provider in Estonia. Levira operates one of the largest datacentres in Estonia and provides public and private cloud services (LeviraCloud) in collaboration with Joyent.
Levira’s state-of-the-art fully automated play-out system gives an utmost flexibility to provide the exact and only those services that are requested by each customer. Today 22 HD and SD TV-channels to Scandinavian, Baltic, Benelux and Sub-Saharan African markets are aired from Levira’s facility in Tallinn.
