Two years ago in August 2009 Levira’s 3rd Digital Broadcasting Conference gathered again over 200 participants from more than 20 countries worldwide. Various topics related to Digital Broadcasting where discussed during two days event giving an insight into what is on in the industry and what can be expected in short as well as in long term.

 
In December 2006 Estonia became the first country to introduce MPEG-4 AVC only commercial Terrestrial Digital-TV services. On March 31st 2007 an Estonian island Ruhnu become first region within new EU countries where analogue TV transmissions where switched off. On July 1st 2010 Estonia became the first Eastern-European country to switch off all analogue TV transmitters – everything Digital.
 
 
 
Another two years have passed and it is a time again to come over to a beautiful city of Tallinn, Cultural Capital of Europe 2011. Last week of August 2011 Levira’s 4th Digital Broadcasting Conference shall be held in Tallinn. During those two days you will hear many outstanding speakers and industry professionals from the east and the west; meet colleagues, vendors and regulators at the conference, exhibition and evening reception. Conference shall take a deeper look at different Digital Broadcasting issues with a particular attention on today’s hot topics: OTT & Non-linear Services, Tapeless Production & IT Broadcast Workflow, Digitalization & Archiving, ASO & the future of DTT and other topics of Digital Reality & Digital Future.
